      Is ubid.com legitimate?

Are there any reviews on ubid.com? Is Ubid.com legitimate?

I stumbled across the Ubid website and I have never used it. The fee structure seems better than other ecommerce sites like eBay. Thought about checking ubid out but want to be cautious.

UBid.com has been in business since 1997 and that should speak about their respectability. Contacting uBid can be a little difficult as they only have a U.S. number 1-866-946-8243. This is why I do not use uBid.

I agree that the fee structure at uBid is attractive. Ubid takes a percentage of the sale and that is all with 3 % of a high-ticket item and up to 12.50 % of a less expensive item.

The benefit of using uBid is that it is for businesses and not just individuals. EBay allows anyone over 18 to open a seller’s account. However, at uBid a trader must prove they are a business.

Yes, I was intrigued by uBid being just for businesses. I thought that might hurt business though since the competition is other wholesalers. Am I wrong?

Businesses might be the only sellers on uBid, but there is still a range between small and large traders. In addition, the wholesalers are the ones you are competing against on ebay and the like.

I would call or email uBid and ask them any questions you have about their operation. Give yourself peace of mind before spending time and effort building up a uBid business.

Sellers on uBid usually pad the shipping fees make up for their low prices. There may be a lot of competition but there are many ways to compete on uBid, reasonable shipping being one.

I am going to take your advice and contact uBid directly. I am glad I asked about uBid before jumping in headfirst.

uBid strikes me more of an overstock site than an auction site. If you do a search for reviews, you will see customers complaining of poor customer service from uBid dealing with bad sellers.
