Suppliers of Berghaus Camping Gear UK - Outdoor, Hiking and Trekking stuff

I’m trying to access suppliers in the UK and, well, I need help. I’m looking specifically for camping and hiking gear by Berghaus. How should I go about this?

The first thing I always do when trying to source brand products is contact the company. That way, you’re always starting a search with the source highest on the supply chain.

      Berghaus

Berghaus works via an affiliate program, and they open that up to sellers occasionally. As they plan growth within the company, they need more sellers. So, try contacting them and finding out where they are with their affiliate program’s status.

If they aren’t currently open to affiliates, you can get on a list to be notified when they do.

Bear in mind, however, that direct suppliers have to buy a certain quantity on a regular basis. In addition, sellers who access wholesale generally can only get end of line, overstock or clearance items.

You might be able to access a list of Berghaus’ current wholesalers as well. By contacting their wholesalers, you could inquire about potential overstock from them.

However, the downside here is that a wholesaler is dumping stock that is probably both out of season (giving you summer items in the middle of winter, for example) and several seasons old (don’t expect anything current).

That should give you enough to go on when you call them.

That’s great, McJennings. I will definitely try them. So, no one around here has any wholesale leads?

M and M Direct isn’t a wholesale company, but they are a clearance company. They sell products like Berghaus, at significantly reduced prices. They claim their prices are 75% less than RRP. They also offer a “Price Promise” so you can’t get their brands at lower prices anywhere else.

Their stock changes all the time, depending on what they can access from brands, but they generally have Berghaus jackets, shoes, boots, pants, fleece jackets, down jackets, etc.

If you want to check them out, their registration numbers are:

Why don’t they always have goods in stock? What’s the best way to reach them?

Brand name clothing suppliers, like Berghaus, don’t have a particular wholesaler (same as other brands). What they do, instead, is sell off their overstock products and end of line/season items to various wholesale companies. So, during any particular month, wholesaler A may have Berghaus while wholesaler B doesn’t. But that could change the next month.

That’s why McJennings recommends you try the brand directly and ask who their wholesalers are.

You could also enquire of the major UK clothing distributors who deal with clearance items: UK Suppliers Clearance Clothing.
