I would say that the best source for finding wholesalers for used/old video games in Canada is through eBay. The link is:

I’m just wondering why someone would want to sell used/old video games. Is it such a profitable business???

In the gaming industry, retailers sell the video games on very low margins. So it is very difficult to make profits by selling new video games. There is a much bigger margin in selling used/old video games. Also, for real gaming fans, pre-released game versions are high in demand. So, with a combination of used/old games and pre-released game versions, you can earn good profit margins rather than by selling only new video games.

I wouldnt agree with the fact that the profit margins are very small as far as new games are concerned. It all depends at what wholesale price you buy the stuff. Thankfully for us, we dont spend much on shipping as we have a supplier nearby. SO thats another important issue.

Hello! Well I’m sorry if I’m asking a slightly un-related question on this forum but it’s related to video games. I’m looking for genuine wholesalers for video games in North America. Can someone help me plzzzzzzzz….Thanks a lot in advance.

I think this is the 100th time I’m reading this question on such a forum. Lemme put my standard answer to this here as well, for your help 

Mind you, this list is directly from Nintendo Corporate and Sony. So they are the authorized distributors of these companies in North America.

      Nintendo Wii

      • Alliance Distributing
      • V.V. 2000
      • Video By Cycling, Inc.
      • Ingram Micro
      • Jack of All Games
      • Key West Marketing, DBA Game America
      • The Game Plan LLC
      • Vast, Inc.
      • Video One
      • Nintendo of Canada, Ltd.
      • D&H Distributing
      • SVG Distribution Inc.
      • HIP Interactive
      • MAS, Inc
      • Mecca Electronic Industries, Inc.
      • SMP Enterprises Inc.
      • Tomorrow Companies
      • Ingram Entertainment
      • Star City Video

      Sony PS3

      • Star City
      • D&H
      • Mohawk Marketing
      • Ingram
      • Mecca
      • Alliance Distributors
      • Fillpoint
      • MAS
      • About Time
      • Jack of All Games
      • SVG
      • Pioneer
      • Florida State Games

Remember that genuine wholesalers expect established sellers to place large orders on credit accounts. Beware of cheap electronics and those claiming to sell branded products at low prices. They are all fake.

Hi! I’m a novice in the gaming business. I’m unable to figure out how these retailers like Wal-mart, gamestop and so on, supply their video games. What if I want some suppliers of video games? Do I need to call them directly for e.g. Sony, Take-two and others, and ask them if I can carry their products? Plz someone tell me how to go about doing this?
