Has anyone used 1shoppingcart.com for their shopping cart? How do you like it?

So…I’m looking for a good program to help me manage my ecommerce site. Basically, I need something that has a good shopping cart feature and is easy to use. I’ve come across 1shoppingcart.com and am curious if anyone has used their shopping cart? If so, how do you like it?

I’ve used 1shoppingcart.com’s services and have had a great experience with it. The shopping cart feature is great and pretty easy to use. Here’s what I like about their shopping cart:

      1. I can draw in customer orders with special coupon codes that they can use when checking out through the shopping cart.

      2. The shopping cart also gives me the ability to cross-sell and up-sell products…basically I can tempt my customers with upgrades at the time of checkout.

      3. It allows me to sell digital goods with it.

      4. It gives me the ability to personalize my catalog pages as well as the “Thank You” note after a sale has been made.

      5. 1shoppingcart also lets me customize the shopping cart to match the rest of my website.

There are a lot of things that you can do with 1shoppingcart.com to enhance your online store/business. The list above is just regarding the shopping cart feature – I hope it helps you out!

There are just a couple concerns that I had with the software, but it’s not really much of an issue to me now.

First, I had to familiarize myself with HTML because that’s how you set up the 1shoppingcart features. To be honest, I’m glad I had to learn that because HTML is used in so many places online and sometimes it’s the only way to fix a problem…

Secondly, I still have to add all my products in the merchant tools part. This is after I’ve already added them to my website…so it’s a bit inconvenient to enter the same products in twice, but again, it’s not a huge inconvenience considering all the other features.

Lastly, I ended up upgrading my basic plan to the professional one because it’s the only one that has it all. But, depending on what you need – that may not be an issue for you.

There are four different plans. They are as follows:

      1. Autoresponder Plan - $29/mo.: Includes Autoresponder, Ad Tracking and Email Campaigns.

      2. Starter Plan - $34/mo.: Includes Ad Tracking, Shopping Cart, Shipping Options, Payment Processing and Recurring Billing.

      3. Basic Plan - $59/mo.: Includes Autoresponder, Email Campaigns, Ad Tracking, Shopping Cart, Shipping Options, Payment Processing and Recurring Billing.

      4. Professional Plan - $99/mo.: Includes everything in the Basic Plan and these additional features – Upsell Express, Digital Downloads and Affiliate Software.

So – I thought I just needed the shopping cart and its associated features (Starter Plan), but now I’m not so sure. What’s the benefit of the Basic Plan?

The Autoresponder, Email Campaigns and Ad Tracking are all included in the Basic Plan and not the Starter Plan. These tools can be helpful for a variety of reasons.

First, with the Autoresponder, you will be able to create custom messages that are sent out automatically to your customers once they’ve purchased from you. You can also set up these messages to send out automatic updates to customers or people that have joined you list. Autoresponders are great for getting repeat business and keeping your name in front of customers.

Secondly, the Email Campaigns feature gives you the ability to create special campaigns – whether it’s a special promotion or newsletter and send it out to everyone that has bought from you or has signed up for your mailing list. Campaigns are not like autoresponders because they are basically for special announcements and usually only sent out once.

Finally, Ad Tracking is a very important tool because it will allow you to see how many of your promotional emails (ads) are being opened, what links were clicked on and which of those links lead to sales. This information will give you the ability to create promotional material targeted for specific customers.

Watz up?! Also – 1SC integrates with Paypal Express Checkout. Another awesome perk!

I think this was only briefly mentioned…but I love that there is an affiliate feature with the professional plan bc its helped me expand my biz in so many ways. I’m able to offer my customers a percentage of the total sale from customers they refer my way.

1shoppingcart.com is probably the one ecommerce software that has it all – in my book anyway. Go for it – you’ll love it!
