Starting UP a Business - Newbie Needs Information on finding Suppliers with High Profit Margin Products
Hi all,
I'm very new to buying at wholesale and I have been searching the web for suitable products that I can sell to make a profit. I'm not really bothered about what the products are, as long as they will be profitable. I'm seeing products listed on wholesale sites offer little or no profit after you take out eBay or Amazon fees and cost of postage and packaging.
Is there any advise that anyone can offer about the best way to get started? Is it just a matter of trawling the internet to find profitable products or am I going to this completely wrong way?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi John, I can tell u I have been in different businesses and witnessing the profit for each item. It's not about how high of a profit it is if it's too expensive to buy in the first place. For example, doors from a door/furniture store make about $100-$500 per door, but very rarely do people come and buy even one door per day.
Now I deal with cell phones wholesale and even though the profit margin is from $10-$100 (depends on the store and model) cell phones are the top sellers right now on all websites and stores. So it sounds like you want to make the maximum amount of money, but how many people will give you their money into your hand is the question.

Hi John,
I work for a wholesaler in the USA and can tell you that it is not only about how big is your profit and just finding random suppliers in the USA, because lets face it even though the country is huge logistics wise it is probably one of the easiest and cheapest in the world. Your focus should be on finding the right products for your clients and then look for your profit.
We handle a large variety of product lines including phones, tablets, tvs, headphones from a huge variety of brands and what I am saying is applicable to every one of them.
