What are the ways to ship products from more than one supplier?

We have an online store. We have one supplier at the moment, but we are busy widening our product base to sell more to our customers, therefore we need to have more suppliers. At the moment we ship directly from our supplier to the customers.

If a customer orders a product that needs to come from more than one supplier, we have to ship from both of them and it will get too expensive. Does any one have any ideas, please?

The most cost effective and the easiest way will be to have the goods from one supplier sent to your other supplier and then that supplier send as one package / consignment.

Obviously this means your supplier being helpful as this isn't something they will happily say yes to. But as long as you are on good terms with your suppliers then they should go with it if you explain the benefits to them.

The other way is to find a good forwarder like DSV or AllPort who can collect different packages from different suppliers at port side and send as one complete LCL / container.

If you need any help or advice, I will try to help you.
