Shipping skin care products from China to Los Angeles, CA

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good customs broker that has the ability to pick up my shipment from port in China and deliver to my location and not just drop it off in the port in Los Angeles?

It's not a huge shipment (only 480 kgs). Also, how long does ocean freight usually take from China to Los Angeles, CA?

      Brand new to this.

      Thanks.

Honestly, it will be better to have your forwader found in States and settle down everything at your side if you ship via sea.. for all the time, for LCL shipment, (I guess your goods will go via LCL), it's the cost at destination high, not in China port high.. when you talk about export, your forwarder's cooperator in China can help you to settle down.. as their cooperator is a forwarder in China.. any forwarder, if he's not the first day in business, knows how to buy export document and commecial inspection if there is.. Even a supplier like me, can buy export document+ commercial inspection (if there is) for export.. so, go for the lowest offer you can have from U.S.

I don't know which port you are going to ship, and if your offer is FOB or EXW.. if it's exw, you need to pay trucking from factory to the port.. and then you will have DOC.+handling charge+ declaration+export document (if your supplier doesn't apply for you) +CFS (this is the argument part.. that's why I suggest you having forwarder at your side)

for airshipment, you can ask your supplier to check rate for your first and then, you can have an offer from your forwarder in states to check and compare.. go for the lowest rate.. however, for goods of 480kgs, sometime, it's lower to ship via courrier like FEDEX, UPS when you consider all the cost together..
