Cosmetic Products Shipping from UK to US
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone uses a reliable company to ship their products from the UK to the US: multiple locations, in bulk (although we are an expanding company, we are not yet sure how much exactly we'd be sending) roughly up to 10 kg's per week.
Thank you in advance!

If you have a small product range, your simplest solution may be to use Amazon USA as your fulfillment organization.
You would then ship a bulk shipment to them, and as you receive orders they will process them for you, handling the packaging and shipping. Their shipping rates are quite low.
If you have a bigger product range and will be sending assorted items to various destinations, it may pay you to consider Royal Mail, although their increasing rates may make them uncompetitive with some of the air couriers. Royal Mail will only negotiate discounts with very big players.
Bear in mind when looking at air couriers' published rates that nobody except total novices will pay those rates. Shipping rates are among the most heavily discounted services in the world of business. Negotiate hard. Never pay more than 50% of the published rates, but depending on which sales representative you encounter, it could be less.

Hi
I personally use Davies Turner for air freight and DSV (milton Keynes) for sea freight, their prices are competitive and they are really helpful with all the paperwork side of things - trust me, you haven't seen the paperwork until you ship something to the USA. You need Power of Attorney, a thing called a Bond and your packing list and invoices need to state exactly where your items are produced and what they contain.
Thanks
Rocky

hi
there is a solution and I recommend you to use, is PARCELFORCE
if you have lots of single items to ship to one country, all you have to do is put them all onto one pallet and that pallet will go to USA , and in USA depot they will break down all the single items and dispatch to the houses or businesses
so for example each item cost £10 to ship to USA
1 pallet cost £400
if you ship out in a day 60 on a pallet ( as your expanding you get more orders )
each parcel you send will work out 6.67 so its alot cheaper.
people think Amazon is a good option, but do not forget the storage charges, pick and pack cost, material costs, VAT.
If you have your own warehouse I suggest you search online for a USA courier that ONLY deals with USA
I found a good courier service that delivers to Australia for only £12 tracked
hope this helps
