You can make money selling electronics from China but you need to work with verified and reputable suppliers and importers. The biggest risk is you invest money up front and lose it to a scammer. You can also get a bunch of crap electronics that are 100% defective. Here is some advice for you.

      1. Research well. Know the products you want and what kind of quality. Also research the supplier thoroughly.
      2. Make sure you know all the cost factors involved including shipping, packing, customs, and anything else that might get thrown into the mix.
      3. References should be mandatory. You should be able to talk with other companies who have used your potential suppliers.
      4. Don’t pay any money up front. In some cases you may have to pay to have a couple of sample items shipped to you – but don’t pay more than just that.
      5. Work through some websites that pre-verify the companies. There is a website I can recommend – International Chinese Electronic Supplier Search - eSources.co.uk

I know folks have been happy with their service so far.
