Wholesalepages.co.uk Review - Deceiving Language - Opinions, Feedback & Reviews

I stupidly paid for wholesalepages because it said "All memberships can be cancelled at any time." however when I asked for my money back their support refused it. They said that what that text means is that I can cancel future payments at any time ... so basically I can cancel but I won't get any refund, and if I had not cancelled they would have charged me again. Am I right to say this is a big scam?

I can also confirm what others have said on other sites, it is not wholesale, it's mostly retailers, prices are incorrect, many of the sites are inactive, and there is no room for profit at all. Paypal told me that since it's a service and not through eBay I cannot get my money back. How can scams like this be allowed to trade without being stopped? Is it true that wholesalepages is based in Pakistan?

Anyone with any information please post it here, we need to stop sites like this!!!

      Hi Jenn,

      Welcome to Wholesale Forum

Sorry to read about your experience with wholesalepages. The wholeslaepages website is based in the UAE, with Pakistan connections. It is not subject to EU VAT. Online reviews also suggest that the same information is available for free. It seems to be part of a network of duplicate lists, some of which are free to access. All the directories have the same whois owner, therefore we must assume that the reports are correct.

Try wholesaledeals and esources instead, they are much larger and much more up to date. Also the margins are better. They are probably the best wholesale and drop ship services in the UK. To give you an idea, wholesalepages lists around 5,000 suppliers whereas wholesaledeals and esources offer over 100,000+ verified wholesale and drop ship sources each. If you want to compete online, it is essential that you have access to a large variety of sources and deals.

If there is any other information you need, let us know.

WholesalePages.co.uk is crap, it is a duplicate website. Listings are scraped from a free directory and then posted on a multitude of domain names including wholesalepages. It is just the same free list copied and scattered across search engine results.

Not exactly ethical when the same information is available for free.

      WholesalePages - be careful

Hi, I'm new to this and wish I'd discovered this forum earlier.

Saw your post on WholesalePages.co.uk and so had to mention our experience too.

I joined for one month as they kept appearing in searches when I was looking for products. So I thought that maybe I would have to cough up for some information. However, as soon as you join up you realise they hardly have any wholesalers listed on their pages at all - and those that are listed are easily obtainable from doing your own search, and that none of them have anything to do with what you were looking for originally on your search engine searches - so how they kept appearing in those searches must be down to some crafty SEO on their part.

They do not refund any money - although thankfully that was little for us, but it is the principal of how they operate.

Personally, I now believe they are a scam but even if they're not, people should be cautious about using them.

Anyway, a lesson learned here, so am posting so that hopefully others don't have a bad experience.

Well same happened here... I got the site mixed up with wholesaledeals.co.uk, a much better service and at least has decent wholesalers providing decent products at a decent price!!

      Thanks for the support!

The truth is that, since 2010, wholesale pages has tried to copy the wholesale deals concept (unsuccessfully we may add). Before they tried to copy us, they attempted for almost 2 years to ruin our name by writing and distributing false reviews about the wholesale deals service. They liked our concept so much that they thought they could catch up by posting false information about us. They were discovered, and have since tried to revert the situation by claiming the contrary ...

To learn that wholesale pages is a copy of a free list is not surprising. The question we ask is "Can a website that has been posting false reviews about its competitors for years, while hiding ownership of a network of duplicate lists, be trusted?". It is not up to us to make that conclusion, however we will defend our service from their attacks aimed at selling through deceit instead of merit.

We will say it loud and proud:

      1. wholesale deals features over 10 times more sources, 105,000+ true wholesalers and dropshippers;
      2. our deals are better, for many reasons including: accuracy of prices, profit potential, proof of demand, and choice.
      3. our service is cheaper.

These facts can be easily verified before upgrading, and we can assure you correspond to the feedback our members have shared with us after comparing the two services.

      Complete Waste of Money

Wholesale pages has been a complete waste of money for me, paid and links I was interested in were broken. Sites are mostly retailers and intermediaries with high prices.

Similar thing happened to me few minutes ago.

I was fooled by the discount offer. It said 2 Left. I paid £20. In hopes I will be able to access the information of the suppliers but as soon as I got access, everything was already outdated. No one replies to me. I really want a refund. I signed out and checked to see what the discount offer has to say this time, and it shows 4 Left! It's a huge scam, saying it was 2 left before and now 4 left!

I am tired of this scam.
