I am looking for new products to sell and am struggling to find anything.

I have recently been importing and selling a few products which has seen me with around £400 - £700 profit for reinvestment , however i have noticed that the previous product has since disappeared from the public view which means that there was little interest towards the end.

I am now looking for a new product or products which have good profit margins. I am open minded to any products in any market.

      Thanks

Hi and Welcome to Wholesale Forum

Have you already defined your target market? If yes, have you already identified the main periodicals within your target market? If not, you should subscribe to them in order to keep up to date with the latest trends.

Another good market research method is to visit related online forums regularly, and identify the latest trends by reading existing discussions and where possible behind the lines hints, to then look at ways to create a better or similar product at a lower cost.

A third option is to subscribe to Google Alerts UK to be notified about news stories and new websites relating to any keyword you specify.

Finally, try out some of the online market research tools discussed at https://www.wholesaleforum.com/discu...arch-tools-67/

      Hope this helps

You cannot reason that way Even if we did suggest a specific product, it will only work for a limited period of time. In that time, you will need to be perceptive to market signals and changes, and adapt your product to the new requirements. The only way you can do that is by following the advice given earlier.

First learn how to read the market, and then propose your content (products). For example:

      1. Have you seen a TV show that exposed a product that will suddenly benefit from the mass popularity?
      2. Have you identified a product that you know will appeal to the masses and that you can obtain licensing for or produce cost effectively?
      3. Is there a seasonal trend you can exploit (eg summer goods, sportswear, etc)?
      4. What is most in vogue this year, and which products complement current trends?
