How to price preowned / used games and DVDs in UK - Pricing for second hand Game

I have a lot of preowned games and DVDs that are in great shape. I know that lots of people sell old stuff like this, but I am stuck on how to price them. Any suggestions?

I think a great way to price your used video games and DVDs is to go to eBay and Amazon and do a price comparison from their listings on the same products. Also, there are tons of online businesses that will buy your used games and DVDs.

There are game price lists available online for the UK. One of the most popular ones is called Game Guide.

You can get Game Guide both online and in a printed version. It offers many resources for used game sellers:

      ● New releases with known retail prices.

      ● Publishes buy and sell values for video games.

      ● Uses a standard USB input so you can quickly find the information you are looking for.

      ● Euro converter available.

I also found a great tool online that compares game prices from five different used game sellers in the UK. It is simply called Compare Game Prices. Most of the prices are within range of each other; however, some prices are much higher than others. This site should give you a good idea of how to price your used video games.

I understand that selling used video games and DVDs online is profitable and advisable. However, are there other ways to sell these preowned items I have?

Visit local cinema stores and game shops. See if they will buy your used items in bulk, citing that you will sell at a discounted price. As I said before, there are a lot of online retailers who will buy your used games and DVDs and give you cash. Whether you sell your items through your own site, eBay/Amazon, or another retailer, make sure the games and DVDs are cleaned and in useable condition.

Be patient when you start selling used video games and DVDs. Often, you will have to sell for less than what you are asking. The best way to learn how to sell and what prices to list is by practicing. You will learn something new with each transaction you make.
