Watch out, there are a number of fake escrow sites which look real even using actual addresses, working telephones, and official documentation . They will look believable, and any funds sent to them will be lost forever. So, work with a company listed in your own governments better business bureau, which is the best route to take.

Have you tried Moneybookers.com? They also provide an escrow service, plus their fees are really good. https://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=escrow

Go to the Better Business Bureau site >>> type in your zip/postal code >>> click on “CHECK OUT A BUSINESS OR CHARITY” >>> click on “Type of Business” >>> search for “Escrow” in the “Type of Business” textbox.

Escrow isnt that popular in trade transactions, but its used here and there. Its a verified operation, however, you still need to guard against fake sites posing as the real stuff, these are the ones you really need to avoid and simply use what you know will work 99% of the time. After the introduction of the Payment Services Regulations 2009, escrow services are now coming under pressure in the UK. One thing you can do is search for genuine providers at FSA Register if youre based in the UK (search for escrow in the Name textbox).
