Will the Internet change the classic distribution channels for industrial products?

Hi! Sales buddies, I get felt that industrial products' traditional distribution pattern are being taken over by internet markeing methods because of clearance price. I raise a question:
Will internet marketing change or replace classic distribution way for industrial products?
Hopefully we can discuss and have clearer direction.

      Hi Frank,

The Internet is bound to replace traditional distribution channels eventually, however not entirely any time soon. The Internet has and will continue to take over some of the steps in the procurement and negotiation process, however it cannot yet take over the whole procurement process nor inspection process.

The sooner your business gets involved with new technologies, the sooner you can reap the benefits from this inevitable revolution.
