      Social networking sites?

While many marketers have shared their success stories with social networking sites, I still wonder about how effective it is to promote your business on this type of websites. I shouldn't, but can you expect to find a reputable wholesale supplier posting status on Facebook?

Oh yes, social networking sites are one of the best ways to advertise your products online. Many companies already migrated to social networking sites because the potential for a sale is really big. The only thing that I think will hinder is the way the product was advertised. Some of the ads were boring and didn't catch my attention. The ads must capture the attention of the reader because the reader is doing something else.

That's a good point. I read somewhere that you couldn't just promote your business on Facebook right way, because it's not a business site by nature. You should first socialize and make friends, and be kind with them before give them your offers.

If you don't know how to write or design you own ads, find someone who can. You can find the best Social Networking site there is, but without a catchy ad, you're just spinning your wheels.

I just read something today that talked about the worst things to tweet about, one of them being your business. If your followers already know what you do they are not going to care what you are doing if they are already your customers/type of thing.
