Anyone using the Pinterest Site
I heard about them for the first time last week. There is a lot of hype about this social pinup network right now along with well known companies using them for marketing (though commercial use is disallowed). I asked to be invited to join, and it takes a day or two for the invitation. You must have a Facebook account.

Welcome back
Are you sure about the comment above?
Pinterest has tremendous potential, especially for retailers, and especially since it has partnered with Facebook.

When I received their invitation, the link Pinterest sent had me sign up by linking my Facebook. I did later do a Pinterest review Google search and one of the sites indicated this is how new members sign up now. But this was my personal experience.
I agree, the potential is great!

I am using Pinterest and it is very nice and easy to use. As you got invitation or as you got joined you may get a lot of benefit by pining your interest. You can comment on others pin or repin them. You can also share your brand. It is mostly famous in women because there are a lot of things of their interest. So it is a very fast growing social networking site. You can also create boards of your own choice and can share a lot.

I love pinterest. It's very popular right now with women mostly, so if your product is geared toward them, it can be really helpful. Basically I pin our products, if someone likes it, they repin it and all their friends/followers will see it - and if it's popular enough the loop continues and people keep repining it, the more people who pin it, the more exposure you get.
In February it was announced that Pinterest Hit 10 Million U.S. Monthly Uniques Faster Than Any Standalone Site Ever.
If you sell anything fashion related Polyvore is great for that too. You create fashion sets. A lot of these sets get pinned to Pinterest. It's kind of a fad right now on there.
