I know I can import stun guns and pepper spray into the UK but does anyone know if it is permissible to import Swiss Army Knives?

The short answer is yes, you can import a Swiss Army-type knife or any knife for that matter, except knives that have a concealed blade or sharp point. So no switchblades or beltbuckle blades, basically.

Is correct. As long as the swiss army knife does not have a button or spring attached to the blades or tools, then it should be fine.
