      Hi Emma,

      Welcome to Wholesale Forum

If you are the importer, and are passing copyrighted images to a manufacturer for printing onto clothes, you are responsible for ensuring you have obtained licensing rights from the brand.

If you are buying from a UK wholesaler or importer, it is the UK importer that is responsible for obtaining the licensing rights.

The liability always falls on the importer.

      Hi Emma,

I am researching the possibilities of starting a similar business with branded children's clothing.

I was wondering if you had success following your initial query or come across any licensing issues?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
