Buyer asking for full refund
I get the fabric printed in pakistan for buyers in the US . These are wholesale buyers who send us the designs and we get the fabric printed as per specifications. I have a buyer who now after receiving the fabric and payment has been done is asking for full refund on the basis that the fabric is dirty. The fabric was sent directly from pakistan to the buyer. I did ask them to check the fabirc and they refused for inspection. Now he is planning to send me a legal notice for full refund of the consignment. I do not know if he is telling me the truth about the fabric being dirty at his shop or mine. Now can I refuse his claim ?

You can refuse but he might sue you. It depends on your past dealings, trade practices, and his ability to inspect prior to payment, among other things. Depending how much money is involved, it may be worth it for your to speak to a sale of goods lawyer.

Before delivery to your buyer in the US, did you ask your staff in Pakistan to take a picture of the fabric? May be you could send a picture to him showing the situation of the fabric before delivery?

You have a point, They refused to check the consignment on your request and now if they complain about dirty material or any thing, there is none of your business, they should have tested it as soon as they have received it, moreover, when did they get that the cloth was dirty, when all the transactions were cleared off, it might have got dirty there in their warehouse or storage godown and now they are trying to put all that back on you, you can make a counter case on them saying they are forcing you for the refund provided that they didn't find any fault in the product till the time they made payment as soon as they made a payment, they find out a problem, that all is just ****, they are trying to force their mistake on you, contact a good lawyer and get a case filed on them
