Has anyone actually paid and used a source directory website and started off making cash flow? If so, how long did it take?

I'm familiar with eBay and Amazon selling, I've sold on there before, and also I know how to set up websites and online carts as well. It seems to me the hardest part is finding a legit and reliable source. My niche won't really matter as long as I know I can make a profit off of an item I can start selling a.s.a.p
