US Based Seller - Looking to Export Goods to France from US - Needs Information

I'm a US based seller and I am expanding our reach into Europe and the rest of the EU.

The challenge we are facing is importing directly into each individual country. I have done hours of research and still not found a clear answer.

Importing into France directly using the UK EORI number instead of having to set up a local company.

What are the steps and paperwork needed to get shipments into France successfully?

      Thanks for the help.

      Dear Member,

Of course you can export into France using your UK EORI number.

What are the steps and paperwork needed to get shipments into France successfully?
You need to appoint a freight forwarder in USA which will take in charge the shipment of your cargo to France, including all the customs clearance formalities in France.

If you are importing into France in order to sell the imported goods to your clients, you should also think to be complied with French VAT rules. You will be entitled to recover import VAT and you will also be liable of french VAT on each sale, especially if your customers are not businesses (B2C).
