      Exporting Cars to China

      Hello,

I am new here but I have just launched a new business with a friend. We have access to used cars of every type, and access to ultra-rare exotic cars that we are looking to export to China.

I am interested in finding out how to connect with Chinese importers who are looking for cars as in my research I have seen that there is huge demand for our cars, especially coupled with how weak our dollar is.

Can anyone assist me in finding the right importers and people to talk to? I am not a total novice, I have done a great deal of reading so I know how to prevent being scammed and I am happy to go visit China to meet with possible business partners but I don't know how to find the right ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

      Thank you.

      -J

Good idea. Many Chinese are looking for the opportunity to import cars or something else. I'm a Chinese in the United States. I found there are so many car resources in the US. I don't know who is an importer. How much would you pay for the shipment? Duty and tax?

It's hard to export second-hand car. If u wanna export car, u should export luxury second-hand car. The profit would be great.

I tried to find such company who has the ability to ship cars in.. as I have resource to have second AUDI, BMW from Germany.. In a way, it's new.. as it's purchased by company to avoid part of tax.. However, it's not easy to have cars imported to China.. Most of the importers of this business are motor company like FAW, SAIC.. who doesn't want others imported cheap car here.. so it's very very difficult to do such business.. Or I can say, it's very hard to import the cars legally. From my knowledge, there's illegal way to do such business.. I can understand the way before but now, a bit difficult, because the three big cities, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou has already restrict issued car liscense.. that means, it's not so easy to have car liscense as before.. but I think if you can find someone with such ablity to import car to mainland, they might have way to take care for car liscense..

the new policy for car liscense is, only people with local HUKOU, and without driving license (this license will be issued to you after you buy the car and have license from driving school that you know how to drive) can apply for car license, and, the most headache is, ONLY 10,000 car licenses are permited in 30days.. the 10,000 has included company car...this is the new policy.. let's see..

      Hi,

I am from Taiwan and recently our business partner in China asked us to help import luxury cars from overseas to Fuzhou, Fujian. They have local connections so they can import cars and have lowered tax and warehouse expenses etc. This is a complete new area for us, and I was wondering if anyone could help me connect with exporters overseas.

      Many Thanks!
