Following on from my earlier post about babies/infants furniture etc.

I know CCTV as I am an installer but have health problems so can't really install it anymore, so maybe I should be importing it instead of fitting it.

Can anyone put me in contact with CCTV (or securtiy) wholesales companies.

From which countries are you willing to source?

You may already be aware of this, it's worth mentioning that if you plan to retail CCTV goods, there are a number of regulations you need to follow, for example:

WEEE Regulations: Environment Agency - Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)

ICO Regulations (if you offer installation and consultancy services): Guidance for Organisation using CCTV Cameras - ICO

Obviously if you can offer a more complete service you will be able to attract a broader range of customers and demand a higher premium.

I really have no idea what counties to import it from.

I have in the past sourced equipment from China, some the equipment has been excellent quality and some not so!

Does anyone have links to wholesale electronics in other trusted countries including China?

I can offer an installation service with it as I will be able to subcontract larger jobs to past workmates and do smaller installs myself.

For CCTV products, there might be many suppliers from China, big or small companies. Big companies might be more expensive generally but they might provide you better guarantees, however, some small companies do give good services as the big ones do. I personally think you can try different companies at the first stage as you are a professional at the products. I may tell you some companies names but I am not sure if it is allowed in this forum. I am new to this forum and I want to be a good player anyway. Or maybe you can contact me via this forum?
