Tips for ranking higher on eBay - How to improve eBay listings positions
Hi,
What methods help to improve search rankings within eBay? Do you have to build content and links? I just want to rank higher on eBay listings so I sell better. Are there any eBay guides out there to help me better understand the eBay success formula?

Welcome to Wholesale Forum
The single best method to rank a new listing higher is to start the listing at a lower price than other sellers of the same items. Consider it a marketing cost. Once your listing moves up to your desired position, you can increase the price gradually. You can then sell more at your profitable price point.
For example, let's say you have an item that you want to sell for £15. Instead of listing it for £15 from the start, list it at £10 accounting for eBay and PayPal fees, and then increase the price gradually once your listing starts appearing in the first page of results. Monitor your rankings to ensure your price increase is not affecting your listing's position.

Hello BusinessLife,
I think instead of lowering the pricing try to increase the traffic to your product listings by ways of adding more keywords in your title since the majority of buyers use eBay’s search feature to shop. Make sure that your listings show up in buyer’s search results. Also make use of eBay’s Featured Plus! It ncreases your listing exposure in two ways. Firstly, your listing will appear in the featured items section at the top of the page that it naturally falls under. Second, Google and other search engines may pick up your listing as they crawl the web.
Hope this helps...

It's all about how many views convert to sales.
If your viewers are converting more often to sales, your listing goes higher in eBay search results.
More offers you get, higher it gets. If you become a Top rated seller, you again advancements in the search.
I am not sure about the number of watchers, hopefully, someone can explain having more watchers to me. It's just an assumption. But above methods have worked for me.
