TheFind is an excellent e-commerce search engine founded by Siva Kumar. It was launched in 2006.

You could say that its a search engine to search for products on sale. For example, if you want to buy a camera, this product search engine gives information about camera deals from different online retailers. By default, this search engine indexes the information according to the popularity of brands and models.

Apart from enabling people to search products easily, this search engine is also useful for coupons, reviews, and green products.

      Heres how TheFind works:

      1. It searches data from more than 500,000 retail websites.

      2. It doesnt rank the products of a particular retail website merely because theyve paid more for it.

      3. Merchants can register with TheFind free of cost. This search engine gives equal opportunity to all retailers. So, small retailers can use this e-commerce search engine to reach their target markets at low cost.

      4. Its special patented search engine robot makes sure that every item on sale is indexed. Therefore, the search results returned by this search website are more comprehensive than any other shopping search engine.

      5. It has a mobile application that allows you to search products, find the best prices, and scan barcodes.

      6. It allows you to sort results by brands and stores. For example, if you want to check Nike shoes available at Macy and Wal-Mart, just type Nike shoes in the search bar and choose Macy and Wal-Mart in store options.

I think that TheFind is a great search engine. Even if you haven’t registered with them, your products might be appearing in their search results.

However, its recommended that you register with them for greater exposure for your products.

If you dont register with them, then your products might appear in its search results, but the search engine wont crawl your website periodically to find whats new.

In the current economic times, buyers want to save every cent. They try hard to find the best prices and also tend to look for coupons and free shipping. With TheFind.com, searching for coupons has become really easy.

I’d say that this search engine is benefiting both sellers and buyers equally.

TheFind is doing a great job. They claim that the rate at which people return to their website is between 2.3 and 3.8. On other product search engines, the rate is 1.3.

Whenever you search for a product on TheFind, you get a huge list of results. If you are interested in something, you can click on it to see its enlarged image. You can also check coupons, special shipping deals, return policies, payment methods, social networking links, and reviews of retail websites.

What I like the most about TheFind is that it allows you to find products according to colors too. A few days ago, I was looking for the Levis Curve ID jeans on TheFind.com, and I saw that there was also an option to search for jeans according to color.

I must say that e-commerce search engines are evolving with every passing day. TheFind allows you to do local searches according to the IP address, as well, which means you could find which stores near you are selling the products that you want to buy.

Overall, this search engine is user friendly and has several good features.

I sell electronics. I’ve used TheFind.com for price comparisons of cameras and cell phones. However, I’m not very impressed.

You could be right. Basically, TheFind was developed for lifestyle products. Thats the reason why you find so many features, like finding products according to color, on this website. This company wanted to target lifestyle products because most shopping search engines were poorly designed for searching products like clothes, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and sunglasses.

I’ve used many product search engines, but I truly admire TheFind. From my experience, I’ve realized that it’s much easier to find to products that you’re interested in.

For any given search, the number of results given by this search engine is huge. Going through so many results is usually difficult, but TheFind allows you to sort by the most popular stores. This narrows your choices and helps you to reach to the retail store that’s ideal for you fast.

On other search engines, I lose the track of clicks before reaching the product and store I want, which really frustrates me.
