eBay pictures and drop shipping - How can I get product photos for drop shipped items
I'm new to dropshipping.
From what I have gathered about drop shipping, you can sell before you buy. So my question is what is the most effective way to obtain pictures of a product you don't physically possess? Should I copy and paste from my suppliers site? Or is that the wrong thing to do? Can any of the veterans offer me some advice?Over 150,000 Verified Sources + Deals 95% Off MSRP + Free Website!

If you are using a genuine top-tier drop shipper, they can supply you with factory stock photos. However bear in mind the same pictures are used by the majority of other retailers selling the same products, ie your competitors. If you want to stand out from the crowd we advise you order at least one of each product you want to sell and make your own quality product pictures. By stocking one of each item you can photograph each item from a different angle, open it up in case it is packaged and display it in various positions and situations. Make sure you watermark your pictures before placing them online so that they can't be used by your competitors. The saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" is especially true when creating your eBay listings. The product picture is the first thing your customers will look at, so it needs to leave the best possible impression.
An added advantage of ordering one of each item is that you can inspect the quality and performance firsthand. You can also explore other ways of marketing your products, for example video marketing like an infomercial. Taking the extra effort of getting the best quality product pictures will pay off with increased customer appeal, leading to more sales.
If you can't obtain the samples for whatever reason, the next best solution is to contact your supplier and ask them if you can visit their premises to take the pictures yourself. You will be more limited in the ways in which you can take the pictures, but you will still be able to obtain higher resolution and personalized pictures, helping you differentiate your listings from those from sellers using factory stock photos.
