Deciding what to sell online. What niche products that are profitable?

I'm having so much trouble trying to decide what to sell online. What are some good niche products that are profitable? I would appreciate any suggestions!

To find out what are the best niche products you can actually use various websites to get good ideas. I am using eBay Pulse. This tool helps me to find out what people looking for. This is how I can see what products sell the best. This eBay tool also allows me to see what words people are typing when they are searching for a specific product. Here you have some important tips you have to keep in mind before choosing a product to sell:

      1. Choose a product you like (probably the most important tip)

Choosing products you like can help you achieve success. First of all you need to search for products you’re interested in. You will more than likely find that a lot of other people are searching for the same type of products.

      2. Choose items you know something about

If you are familiar with the type of products you are selling you can succeed to attract more clients. Remember that you need to make a good advertising for your products. If you know a lot about the products you’re selling you will succeed to create a detailed description. Use your hobbies and skills to find a niche product to sell.

      3. Make sure there is a high demand for the product you wish to sell

Check the online marketplace to see if people are interested in the product you wish to sell. For this you can even ask advice from your friends and family. Make a list with the products you want to sell and remember to do a good research. Try to find out if the products from your list are in high demand on the online market. My advice is to stay away from heavy items such as furniture.

Here you have a list of popular niche products you can sell for profit:

      • Beauty pageant supplies

      • Absinthe accessories

      • Bubblehead dolls

      • African-American hair products

      • Celebrity costumes

Well, I actually have quite a few products I prefer to sell or that are my favorites. I’ll give you a list so you can see what and why I choose the products I sell:

      Products for left-handed people

A lot of left-handed people are avoiding purchasing some products because they are difficult to use. This is why I think selling products for left-handed people can bring a lot of profit. For example I prefer to sell products like can openers or crafts.

      Holiday specific products

Another great idea is to sell items like Christmas decorations or Easter eggs. You can also choose to sell angels. These items are also perfect for gifts.

      Genealogy items

You will be amazed to see how well these products sell. A lot of people have this hobby.

      Ethnic Clothing

Ethnic clothes are difficult to find online. This is why you can make a lot of money with this type of products.

      Period Clothing

People need the right type of clothing for special occasions like Civil War, Halloween or Medieval. I also like to sell unique wedding dresses.

      Green products

The green products market is increasing from year to year. You can sell products like canvas bags, shower heads for saving water or other planet friendly items.

      Scouting supplies

I also like to sell camping equipment. These products are very popular. The only problem is the high competition. You need to make your products unique if you want to achieve success.

      Crafts Supplies

There is a big online market for craft supplies. I prefer to sell crafts for children and oil paints. My advice is to choose a niche. For example you can sell supplies for scrapbooking.

      Religious products

Some other things I would recommend for selling online are the religious products. You can sell religious books, jewelries or even t-shirts.

      Spa products

I find spa products very easy to sell. Most people like to use these products as gifts. A good idea would be to create gift baskets containing spa products.

      Fitness products

A lot of people are trying to have a healthier life style and lose weight. Fitness products can bring a big profit.

      Jewelry

Another popular product is the jewelry. However, people are skeptical when it comes to buying very expensive jewelries online. This is why it’s recommendable to sell jewelries with a value of maximum $300.

      Baby products

The market for baby products is very competitive. Try to choose a hot niche like organic baby products.

Wow, you do have a rather large list of favourite products. I’m the type of person that probably would do better with only two or three products. It would just make it easier for me to concentrate on. However, if you have the organization skills and interest in several products, then I see nothing wrong with going for it.
