      Hi MoneyMadeDaily,

      Welcome to Wholesale Forum

This is probably the most common question among new members who have the dream of becoming a successful business owner, but not quite sure how to go about it.

It's been known that there are a number of ways to break into this business. There are those who have a healthy bank account to play with, and others who work from a more thrifty angle that requires “getting your hands dirty” as they say. Most people who are new to this have little to no funds to use to their advantage, besides the income of a full-time gig, or for the rest, a part-time job to scrape by.

First we would like you to read the following thread that explains how you can set up a successful business using drop shipping in a couple of steps:

Ideally, you have to start by finding a marketplace with an established membership base. You can begin by checking out the following:

eBay - one of the UK's largest shopping destinations

Amazon.co.uk: Low Prices in Electronics, Books, Sports Equipment & more

United Kingdom jobs, cars, property, free classifieds and more - Gumtree.com

eBid Online Auctions - Buy & Sell in our Fee Free Internet Auctions for United Kingdom

Online Auctions UK - CD's, Books, Fashion & Jewellery Auctions - CQout

To find the right product you want to start selling you need to do some market research to see which products are best sellers and have the highest profit margin. A great tool which can help you do this market research is Terapeak. It shows you which products are currently selling best on eBay and also how you can best sell those products to get the highest return.

The second step is to build up a positive feedback history. If you don't do this right now than it's going to be a lot worse later on as you try to sell to potential customers who have no idea how reliable or how valuable you are to them. This is what feedback is all about and it’s one piece of many puzzles that’ll lead to your long-term success.

Please have a look at the following discussions on Wholesale Forum feedback on eBay:

So, as you go about working this feedback angle, go ahead and push some merchandise out there. A great way to start selling and boosting feedback, is to start selling things from around the house that you don't need any more.

Here's a couple of pointers to keep in mind before listing your item:

      • Make sure it's spotless to give the impression that it has been well maintained

      • Take the time to snap a couple of high quality photos (Nothing out of focus, angled, bad background, horrible surface, etc.)

      • Keep in mind that looks do matter, so invest a quid or two buying materials for a decent backdrop at your local hardware store.

When it comes to describing your item, always be as descriptive as possible. The biggest mistake newcomers make is to be too formal with their listings. Your goal as a seller is to keep it friendly, personal, and interesting.

You need to find yourself quality drop shippers to work with, verifying the drop ship supplier you will be using is the most important aspect. You also need to make sure that the products are of the expected quality and shipping times are accurate. The drop shipper will be sending orders to your customers on your behalf so the service the customer receives will be in the drop shippers hands.

Have a look at the following thread:

A great way to find verified drop shippers of any product you are interested in selling is to make use of trade directories of verified drop shippers. eSources and Wholesale Deals are the largest UK trade directories of verified sources online. eSources also offer a fully functional eCommerce website with free hosting to their premium members so if you want to find drop shippers and start selling on line immediately, then eSources is a great way to go. Have a look at the following thread for more information about online trade directories:

      Hope this helps
