      Wholesale companies afraid to stock up on moccasin shoes?

      We have a mother company of wholesale distribution, and we come from ewinstonusa, which sells by the pair.

      Our data shows people show a strong interest in moccasins, but for some reason we witness resellers grabbing all our stock minus the moccasins. But regular consumers provide excellent feedback on our moccasins. Is there a particular trend not obvious going on? Moccasins are famous for rarely being out of fashion.

      Any input on this perplexing situation is appreciated.

      Our shoes are positioned in between the low and high tier of shoes. We have our own brand but price it competitively while trying to keep the quality up there.

      Competitor analysis has shown us that indeed people are buying moccasins, even though competitors offer them at much higher margins.

      Sales lower during colder months.Though during this time it's expected that resellers stock up on these in time for spring.
