      You canít be everything to all people. Decide what you want to offer and stay with it. Nothing is more irritating than having your customers choose from a wide variety of options because they wonít buy anything. Trim the fat, keep it simple and decide what product or service sells the most.

      Money is the wise manís religion


      The single most important thing to negotiate prior to closing a sale, if youíve worked this hard, is how payment will be made. Your bank can steer you in the right direction for getting paid in full and on time without risk.

      If thereís a drop of wisdom here, itís this: Agree with payment terms beforehand, and never, ever close on an open account to a new customer. Itís not worth it.

      International business matters


      Stop making excuses that you donít know how to conduct international business and that it doesnít really matter since itís not in your ballpark.
