      Do You Know Your Customers?

Smart people right now are connecting more with their customers. Instead of focusing on how to cut corners they are focusing on a greater experience. If you do this youll greatly increase the chance of customer loyalty which leads to stability, higher profits and a strong business.

And the only way to go about this is by establishing relationships with your customers. Even prosperous companies are looking for ways to build upon their audience. And they understand how to make it even easier and convenient for their audience to find them.

A perfect way to go about this is to stay true to the classics: be a real, honest person.

This only works if this is what the masses want. And it will only work if you go that extra marathon. Customers do not want to wait. And they do not want to talk to thick accents or 10 different people who ask for the same information again and again (name, address, account number, problem, etc.).

But, before you take that big leap forward, understand what your audience really wants. Then build your business around their demands. Never assume what your customers want just because you hear tons of hype about it from unfamiliar sources. Guarantee it by talking straight to your customers.

Then guarantee youll be able to solve your customers problems in a way that is thorough and loving. Make sure your employees care even more about your customers and train them to help quickly and positively.

Strong, loving companies are making business owners think twice when it serves their audience on a higher level. They are also using a social networking site, thats where the customers are. You must build a loyal customer base. Think how they think, meet where they meet.

I would much rather focus on a friendly approach than a hard company type only. How is that helpful? When I call someone I want to hear a friendly voice, not a robot or someone demanding things at me. I would expect my clients want the same.

I really do not like the idea of a social networking myself other than for personal use but I do think many companies can benefit from it. I just do not see me logging in going "Hey we have some discounts for X prints per....". I could be wrong though.

I think customer surveys are a good, soft approach to marketing. It keeps the customer aware of your products, while not being too pushy about it.

Surveys are priceless, they can reveal information that could otherwise take years to uncover. The costs of conducting a customer survey are negligible compared to the savings they can produce as a result of your reaction to customer demands.
