Tax Related Information - Do I need to Pay Tax on sample products?

My friend owns a brand of blue jeans in Mexico. They are designer jeans, and I want to distribute them in the US.

He will be sending me a pack of samples to take to the potential buyers. My question is, do I need to pay taxes on a pack of samples? Where should I look for that kind of information? We're talking about 100-150 pairs of jeans.

      Hi Titodj,

      Welcome to Wholesale Forum

Yes absolutely, customs have no way to verify the "samples" claim for a consignment of that size / description.
