What have you heard or personally experienced about starting or being a home based business? Do you make enough to quit your full time job?

Well, you can use the thought of hating your other job, colleagues and your boss for motivation. If you are not willing to work hard for a buck, I wouldn't advise you to keep going in this direction.

It's not going to be easy. You will need to constantly learn new skills and work hard to take control of your own destiny. Hard work = Success

Most businesses will fail within the first year or worse yet, never even launching at all. Having a positive outlook will keep you going in all facets of business and life in general.

The start up costs are small to non-existent. You should have a business bank account to accommodate appropriate accounting practices and make sure you are registered within 3-6 months.

Don't concentrate on exhibiting the lesser price, there will always be someone that undercuts or even makes a loss just to reorganize their merchandise. Instead, focus on supplying high quality items with unparalleled customer service.

If you have something that people are willing to buy, then you might have a go at it. I've seen and have started my own online dropship business. It takes a lot of time and due-diligence but so far it is working. You have to be organized, and know who you market is.

That is definitely a strong point to keep in mind. Someone will always undercut your cost so you have to make up for it with excellent customer service!
