Where to buy eyelash and eyebrow tinting and waxing kits - UK wholesalers

    Hi,

This is my first venture into this site so be gentle! My partner has a beauty salon and would like to expand into selling diy kits on the net. Where would be the best place to get this kind of thing.

    Cheers,

    Rob.
PS are the people that advertise on the side of some of the listings on this site vetted by you i.e. are they ok?

    Hi Rob,

    Welcome to Wholesale Forum

Something like Sally Salon Services | Store Locator ? (see the legend for details on how to identify their trade distributors).

Yes all WF sponsors and advertisers are 100% verified by us, however this is an open community and discussion is encouraged.

    Thanks for the speedy reply!
She has an account with them as she uses them already, there is someone selling them on ebay cheaper than sallys so there has to be a cheaper place to buy them.

    Thanks again,
    Rob.

Rob have you already been in touch with Original Additions - Creators of Market Leading Beauty Brands ?

This is what might be happening:

    1. The eBay seller is selling counterfeits, although there is no indication that Chinese suppliers have gotten onto this product.

    2. The eBay seller has purchased a one off lot from a salon that went bankrupt or sold its overstocks.

    3. The eBay seller purchased directly from Original Additions and is selling at low margins.

You should first get in touch with Original Additions to get an idea of their supply requirements and prices. You can also ask for a list of their stockists. Then evaluate whether it will be profitable for you to buy from the brand directly. If not, approach current stockists and ask to buy their overstocks or last season's stock. your final option is to search the UK bankruptcies database at Search the Individual Insolvency Register to identify salons in liquidation.

Can you think of other options?

Thanks for the help, I must say I am very impressed with the help and info on this site, I am a bit curious as to why the two advertisers at the top (moderated link and moderated link want money to regester (mind you I suppose they are a business like anyone else)!
    Thanks again,
    Rob.

Imagine the same help you just received, multiplied by 7 years, and constantly updated They are what we consider to be the two best resources to start a successful resale business. As a reseller you already know how long it can take to reach profitability and to find reliable suppliers. These two directories have the advantage of putting you in touch with the best trade sources, and you yourself wouldn't want them to be free.
