      Finding authentic designer handbags wholesale

For the past few months I have been searching for a reputable supplier of authentic designer handbags. I know there are a lot of fakes on the market. Iím not interested in those.

Is there a good wholesale source to get designer handbags? Iím looking for Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Pauls Boutique and more along those lines.

What will help me find a wholesaler who wonít sell me counterfeit bags?

There are some brands that you are not going to find on the wholesale market – the genuine market that is.

Louis Vuitton, for example, is not going to be on the wholesale market unless they are fake. They only sell to brick and mortar stores – the same goes for Pauls Boutique.

When you find a supplier I would suggest you do the following –

      • Ask for copies of authentication invoices
      • Review pictures carefully- pay attention to design, hardware and stitching
      • Post a thread on this forum asking for a reviews (we are all here to help)
Authentic handbags can be found from a wholesaler but don’t expect anyone to just give up their supplier. A lot of the wholesale business is done offline. You want to meet with them, face to face if possible.

Certainly make sure you have all their correct contact information.

I never deal with a handbag supplier unless they offer a money back authenticity guarantee. Wholesalers who sell the real handbags will offer this. Those who sell fakes most likely will not.

Keep in mind that the popularity of the handbag, be it Dior, Chanel or whomever, leads to more counterfeit rings. If a deal seems to be too good to be true, like if the price is very low, then you probably need to move on to the next supplier.

There are a lot of fake bags on eBay and other markets. I was talking with a wholesaler the other day who was charging 100 EU for a handbag with a RRP of 1000 EU. To me that is a scam.

If you can get 1000 EU for it then why would they sell it to me for 100? That had “fake goods” written all over it.

A lot of times the price is what gives suppliers away. They know that many traders will just be glad they found a good deal.

Those traders who are too cheap to spend the money it takes to get authentic goods soon discover that their supplier didn’t give them a good deal, after all.

I saw where I could buy a list of wholesalers for designer handbags. Is it worth the money to invest in a directory?

I am very aware that there are fakes on the market. I donít want to sell fakes or get duped into buying them.

Yeah, people think they are going to be able to pay less than half of the RRP for a designer handbag. That’s just not going to happen if you are purchasing authentic goods.

If you want authentic handbags then most of the time you are going to need to go straight to the source.

I think it’s easy to find real Chanel handbags but I’ve never been able to find an authentic Vuitton bag from a wholesaler. I could always tell they are fake.

To me counterfeits can be spotted based on their craftsmanship. The real handbags never skip a stitch, and their logo is always consistent. Some of the fakes have mirrored logos, or their logos are much too large to be real.

Some lists are good to purchase. However the same threat for scam remains. There are lists that include out of date information.

I would research who you are buying the list from before sending them any amount of money.

Yeah it didnít seem like a good idea to me. Just saw the list for sell on eBay. It looks like I need to do some more research.

Authentic handbags are only going to be found from reputable suppliers. That means you need to make sure the wholesaler meets the following criteria –

      • Has valid contact information (phone, email address, physical address)
      • Can provide you with a test/sample order to inspect quality
      • Offers a money back guarantee
      • Prices are reasonable and in line with the market

I sell designer handbags and constantly run across bad suppliers.

Research the market. Go in the stores and look at the bags yourself. Touch them, feel them. Look at the stitching, zippers, designs, hardware…everything.

The more you know about the particular brand of bags the better off you will be in finding a reputable supplier on the wholesale market.
