I can understand your pain. I’ve had a horrible experience with DHG as well. There are number of alternatives that you can try like:

      • DavisMicro.com
      • Uxcell.com

These are Chinese sites which ship all over the world. It’s always better to get some samples and then place a large order if you intend to. Another fact is that since it’s based in China, never expect branded products from any of the sources there. It’s all fake. You got to be very careful.

I can suggest some sites that I’ve used. They are:

Gogoec: It’s similar to DHG in services. It has cheaper products as most of them are in-house manufactured ones and not from different suppliers. However the quality is good.
Sourcinggate: You can try out some rare phones and car DVD players through this.
Lightinthebox: It’s a slightly more expensive option but the shipping is pretty accurate and the layout is impressive too.

If you want to try out “no name” or imitation products, then mainland China is “the” place for it, but branded; no way! Good Luck 

I’ve heard about these two sites a lot: eSources Wholesale Directory and Manufacturers: Global Sources

You can give it a try as well.

I would suggest that it is always better to look for a good Chinese supplier rather than opting for websites like DHGate which charge high commissions to sellers. For instance, I think its 13% for DHG. So, it’s more profitable to look out for a good, trustworthy supplier elsewhere rather than making contact through a site that charges the supplier a commission to put you in touch, which will increase your sourcing cost.

Oh I found quite a large no. of options on google for Chinese suppliers like tradetang, fairfro.betal, chinalink and so on. I don’t know about the feedback but I guess that should be available on the internet too.

DHG has some good items and mainly it’s a platform to connect buyers and sellers. However most of the Chinese suppliers sell fake stuff which are cheap imitations mostly. So you must be very careful else, you can be held liable for copy write infringement. If someone is looking out for electronics in particular, a site: electronicb2c.com is a good option. It has some really good products at reasonable prices and service as well.

Well, I can vouch for chinabuye.com. I used DHG before using this site. So you can trust the reputation of this site.

That’s great if you’ve a good option for everyone to use. What went wrong with DHG? If you don’t mind sharing your experience on this forum, many people can learn from that or get alert.

Sure I will. DHG is a crappy site filled with fraudsters ready to mislead the innocent buyers. Iíve also been cheated by a seller and my dispute is still open. A fake product should be immediately refunded but DHG never bothers to resolve any issue. Iíve lost my money and will never ever in my life use that site now. Beware guys!
