      A good rule of thumb to go by is---if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Not always of course, but that's typically the case.

      Dinodirect is the worst company I have ever dealt with...

      Dinodirect advertised 1 meter E-Sata to SATA cables on their site. I bought nine of them. Almost 2 weeks later they emails me to say they were only sending PART of the order.

      Like "Oh really?" So I chased them up and after lots of "The lights are on and no one is home" types of replies, I found out that they only sent 7 of the 9 ordered.

      I also found that there was a gaping chasm in their stock control - between their listing the products as available and their inventory.

      Like there is NON, and yet when they told me that there were no available cables because they said, "It was because of the rush"... and yet they were still selling and taking orders for them on their site - with no notices "Temporarily out of stock" etc.

      After reading almost all reviews about them over the internet, it's pretty obvious that they are in the habit of short changing their customers, along with non delivery, taking money and cancelling the orders etc., etc., etc....

      So I put the screws on them to deliver the goods... and since I am very good at that, they at least made the undertaking over some 10 or 12 emails to deliver the rest..

      Will I hold my breath? No..

      Anyway a whole 4 or 5 weeks after the placement of the order for the 9 cables, the original order being only 7 cables - actually arrived.

      Great news, happy times? Not.

      The 7 cables were plain SATA (male plug) to SATA (male plug) cables..... and NOT the E-SATA to SATA cables a ordered.

      These people are hopeless.

      Almost all of the positive reviews are just company shrills with odd Singaporean "English" grammar - which are made with the express intent of driving up their ratings in a sea of almost totally hostile ex-customer feedback.

      Their inventory control is non existent.

      Their customer service is bad, evasive and much of it is the "Oh yes yes yes" lip service and nothing gets done. You get more sense out of house bricks.

      And they have sent a "partial order" of the wrong parts..

      So I chased that up by emailing them a message. It took about 2 more weeks before they replied, they asked for a picture and I sent them one, and so it took another month to get another 7 cables sent out... and guess what?

      They were the WRONG cables again....

      So I sent them another email saying "You sent me the wrong parts" they said send us a picture etc..

      I said NO WAY I want a refund... and they came back with the same reply.

      After considering that from the outset - they do not match the orders taken with the parts in stock, so they send out a partial order... 7 of the 9 cables.

      They promise a 14 day delivery.... it took over a month.

      I hassle them. they send out the last two cables... which were the right cables.

      They 7 of the 9 cables were the wrong cables....

      I hassle them and then they send out another 7 cables, and these too were the wrong cables...

      AND now they expect me to send another picture because they are too slack and too stupid to trace back through their own ordering system to track the fault....

      So they are refusing a refund because the 9 cable 14 day delivery order has taken about 3 or 4 months, and I only have 2 ESATA to SATA cables, and 14 SATA to SATA cables, which I did not want or need - because I had about 5 spares ones in the first place.

      Dinodirect is run by imbiceils - congential idiots. These people are so stupid they would not ........

      DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING EVER from DINODIRECT. Everything about the site is a scam run by morons - and they are lazy, slow, stupid, apathetic and really crappy morons.

      I am doing a charge back on my credit card and forcing the idiots in my bank with the fair trading laws to comply with my request.

      hello, guys, this is DinoDirect, thanks for your interest. As for the" scam " issue, all the review there are posted by real customers after package received. actually, some con-reviews resualt from slow delivery, while we recognized it and will ask our logistic department to make this process much quicker.

      We are celebrating our anniversary, how can a spam site celebrate its anniversary?

      Hi DinoDirect,

      Fair comment, however there is no need to come to an open forum like Wholesale Forum to post fake reviews. Let your customers do the talking, by offering them good service and quick issue resolution.

      Regarding your anniversary comment, we know of many Chinese companies/sites that are notoriously bad with customer service, and that often send used or damaged goods without recourse for an exchange or replacement. Yet they have been trading for many years.

      DinoDirect.com Review

      I placed an order with DinoDirect.com and found it strange as I paid through paypal and I thought had to register so they have my details for order but the shopping cart took me staright to paypal without registering and when got email from paypal to say I paid there was no order title so I used the live chat on the DinoDirect.com website to make sure they receive my order.

      They kepy me waiting for 20 mins or more and they said they never received my order so I told them to check paypal email of my order and they kept me waiting a long time.

      They then said they got my order and would be posted soon.

      I then did a search for any comments about DinoDirect.com and found lots of reviews that people never received goods and never got refund. So I was scared so I wrote them an email to cancel the order.

      I went to paypal and posted a dispute in the Resolution Centre and so I asked for a refund.

      After about 20 mins they phone me and wanted me to cancel the dispute in the Resolution Centre in paypal as their account was blocked. They promised me an refund if I stop the dispute .

      After a while I cancel it to see and they say they refund money inside 5 hours.

      I checked paypal in the next morning and seen they give me refund.

      So if you want to deal with dinodirect.com use paypal as it is easier to get refund seeing that other people never got a refund.

      So I was lucky this time.

      Buyer beware or else you will certainly regret it!!!

      This is already turning out to be the WORST shopping experience I have ever had!!!
      I have PAID FOR MY ORDER IN FULL VIA PAYPAL but when I log into my account on the Dino Direct website, it is marked as "unpaid" & when I tried to email them on their forums, one of their arrogant staff finally replied after I had posted & directly emailed them about a dozen emails!!!...
      My order # is: 542372-DD & finally after a ridiculously long wait this arrogant staff member told me that I had not paid because I had not clicked on their "security checkout" even though I did & I emailed them back a copy of the entire email PayPal sent me including my transaction ID #:6199416246681123P
      but they still have not got back to me & my order is still showing up as "order unpaid" despite my numerous emails to them throughout the entire day which have remained unanswered!!! -I feel that I may have no choice but to open up a PayPal dispute & that will be proof to them that I PAID IN FULL despite their arrogant staff telling me that I haven't when in fact I HAVE & WILL PROVE IT BY FILING A DISPUTE ON THEM IF NEED BE!!!...
      Please DO NOT believe any positive posts as their employees often pose as consumers (often quite obvious that they are doing this) on their forums as well as other websites reviewing them like this one & I will NEVER place another order with them ever again!!!...
      Also, in the beginning it was possible to speak to someone directly via a live chat option on their website but now it is not an available option & I would say that "it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle" than to communicate or deal with these crooks!!!...
      Worst of all they promote special sale event periods to lure unsuspecting consumers into ordering when they clearly show no intention of fulfilling these orders & they will even scam you on one of these sale events at Christmas time while leaving you with no hope of your goods arriving on time or of seeing your money without filing a long PayPal dispute! BUYER BEWARE OR ELSE YOU WILL CERTAINLY REGRET IT!!!

      Yes, they are a scam.

      If you come across a site with good reviews they are often made by the employees themselves. This is why the reviews are so polarised - how can a business be all bad and all good? You can trust the bad reviews though - people aren't paid to post bad reviews, they do it out of anger, frustration, and a sense of justice.

      I'm a dissatisfied dinodirect customer. I have since conducted better research into this business. Dinodirect themselves seem to target just a few sites for their own positive reviews, sites like bbb.org/us and resellerratings.com. They seem to be trying with these sites especially to get some sort of legitimacy. Unfortunately they know how to work these sites to their advantage and thereby minimize the negative reviews with lots of false positive reviews.

      Keep away from them!

      This item was not supplied, I asked for a credit and was offered a gift card, which they said would be emailed to me.
      It never came so I emailed them, was told to 'Open a Case' ...I did, then got an email saying I would receive a gift card... I didn't receive the gift card, so contacted them again and was email back with the message that all I needed to do was 'Open a case'
      Round and round and round.

      Customer Service...NIL Nil Nil

      They have taken my money and trying to contact them is a joke.

      Best not ever deal with them, ever.

      This is the Better Business Bureau, based in America but anyone can make an official complaint here. This is one of the sites that Dinodirect is trying to get accreditation on. Dinodirect post most of the false good reviews themselves, but this does not stop people from posting their real bad experiences. Go get even
